Christchurch, the garden city of New Zealand (1925)

The 1925 publication, Christchurch, the garden city of New Zealand, is a highly illustrated work that covers many aspects of the city's foundation and development. The text was complied by Mr. J. S. Kelly and sourced from various institutions including the Christchurch City Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Progress League, Industrial Association, the Beautifying Association and the Canterbury Pilgrims' Association.

Within the editorial the publishers express "their sincere thanks to all who have assisted, either by lending old photographs, or by giving advice and making suggestions, to ensure that the publication shall be worthy of out beautiful and much-loved city".
