Macmillan Brown Centre Newsletters:

The Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies (MBC) is the University of Canterbury’s interdisciplinary research centre on the Pacific. It opened in April 1988 and in its early years produced two newsletters. The first, Newsletter (1989-1994), focussed on the people of the Centre and its research, teaching, publications and lectures. The second, Ala Mai Pasifika (1996-1997), was a student-produced newsletter “to inform the students and staff about Pacific Island issues”. This included some profiles of recent graduates.
