Canterbury's Bibles
This seminar began with exploring the development of the Book of Common Prayer, the service book of the post-Reformation English Church, moving on to explore the wider question of the key Christian text, the Bible, in England and in English translation. Finally by exploring the influence of the King James Bible in subsequent centuries through texts held at UC.
