Unique Individuals

The University of Canterbury has been home to a wide range of unique and talented personalities who have influenced the development of the University, the community, and the country. Each individual featured here had a colourful history and made a significant contribution to UC, either through their teaching and research, or through their outreach into the community. These vignettes demonstrate just what a big role the University played over the past 150 years in producing graduates who have had lasting impact on their respective disciplinary fields and on the community at large.
